Every site has to have them, and this one is no exception. Make sure you've read them all-it's kind of mandatory.
one. Read the rules. Didn't we tell you this was mandatory? If you don't read the rules then there is a chance you could mess up or get suspended from the site...and well, we don't want that and hopefully, neither do you.
two. There will be no God-Moding or Power-Playing on this board. When characters have special abilities it is harder to not power-play and god-mod, but we urge you to resist the temptation. GM and PP will NOT be tolerated and you will be warned if you begin to do it. Don't know what these two mean? Then don't worry- we have provided convenient definitions below.
God-moding (also known as God Modeling) or GMing is when a character has the ability to do anything without limits or boundaries. A pretty good example is a character is that we prefer to call a 'sue'. Meet the sues: a family of characters that are absolutely perfect. They are all beautiful, smart, funny, likable, etc. They can get into a fight and not get a scratch on them. Sues aren't very nice to role play with, so let's not make them. An easy way to overcome this? Simply let your character get hit, and realize that hey, not all the other characters are going to like them. Viola! Problem solved!
If you feel worried that you might have accidentally created a mary-sue, here's a handy little test that can hopefully help you out! But since tests aren't always accurate, don't be afraid to try asking your friends or the other members friends what they think either! Remember, we've all created a sue at one point in our lives; so there's nothing to be ashamed about! It's one of the things that we develop and learn from even without realising.

Power-playing or PPing is when a role player takes control of a character that is not theirs. They control what the character does, says, and acts like. If the character is not yours, do not role play as them unless you have permission; this will not be tolerated either.
three. There is a character limit of three characters per a member. We require, however, that each character has at least one role play post per week (every 7 days); this is to ensure that none of your characters gets left behind in the dust. If you have not role played with a character for a week, an admin/mod will PM you to warn you about your character. You will then have another week to role play him or her before your character gets retired into the Character Graveyard, in which case you will have to speak to an admin in order to have them removed from the Graveyard.
four. Activeness is a key to a successful forum and role play, so please try to log on several times a week to role play or even just chat with the other members. If you do that, we won't bother you too much about activity. If you are going on vacation or if you know you cannot be on for a certain amount of time ( 7 or more days), please notify someone or post in the absence thread. If one of your characters happens to be a tribute/canon and you are going on vacation, your canon status could be terminated/postponed without the proper documentation, so please make sure you tell an admin to keep this from happening.
five. We are open to all kinds of sexuality here, not just the traditional pairings. Feel free to make you character love whoever he/she pleases. It makes the role play more interesting.
six. For members who are just joining the site, you have one week (7 days) to post a character application. Should you not post within that time period, your account will be deleted in order to prevent clutter.
seven. At times this forum will be G-rated and other times it will reach into R-rated. It really depends on who you are role playing with. If your role play partner has limits and asks you to skip a certain event, please respect their wishes and follow along with it. The ages on this forum/RP will vary but you do not have to read a role play if you believe it to be inappropriate for your age or yourself. Threads that are R-18+ in nature must have a warning on them some where in the subject title. Please note that due to the ProBoards TOS, there should be no sexually explicit posts. If you're into roleplaying that sort of thing, take it off the site and note that it happened in as respectable a manner as you can. We don't want this site to deleted, and hopefully, neither do you.
eight. When you post a topic to make a new character, please make the title in some variation of FIRST MIDDLE LAST. Once you have posted a character, you have 14 days (2 weeks) to complete them. Should you not finish your character by then, your character will be deleted. Please note though that you can ask a staff member for an extension, and they'll gladly give it to you.
nine. On this site, you will typically find two different types of threads-Plot threads and regular threads. Plot threads will have 'PLOT' somewhere in the title, while regular threads will not. While similar, there are some differences between the two.
Plot threads are threads that directly shift the plot in a particular direction and are usually carried out during major site events. For example, the rebels attacking a major House (Goldsbloom, Silverhollow or Whitestag) would constitute as a plot thread.
Threads that don't refer to a site event, regular threads are just that-regular threads and while they can make just as a big an impact as a plot thread, they can happen at anytime. The majority of the threads you see on here will be regular threads.
ten. Decency and respect shouldn't be considered a rule, but we'd just like to remind everyone that it'd be less trouble for everyone if you could remember proper manners. If there is a problem, however, please contact a moderator/admin and we will kindly deal with the problem. Should you notice anything obscene, please report it to an admin right away and we will deal with the problem. Bullying IS NOT and WILL NOT be tolerated at this RP.
eleven. Of course, as all role plays were made for: BE IMAGINATIVE AND HAVE FUN!
See now, you're done! That wasn't so bad, now was it? Congratulations, you are now on your way to joining. Next on your quest:
